Weight is the limiting factor for Movement for a Player. The more Weight that is on your person, the slower you move. Weight will also decrease your stamina in Climbing.
How is Weight Measured?[]
Weight is measured using a Weight Gauge that can be located in the Armory (to the left of the Smithy), the second floor of the Carpenter's Workshop, and the Crafting House. These Weight Gauges must be constructed with 35 Iron Bars.
Materials[]
Different materials have different weights:
Metal | Wood | Leather |
---|---|---|
Valyan | Ash | Black Leather |
Gold | Walnut | Red Leather |
Viridium | Oak | Plain Leather |
Electrum | Redwood | Green Leather |
Silver | Birch | |

Item [qty] | Weight (bars) |
---|---|
Gold Ingot | 1/3 |
Copper Ingot | 1/10 |
"13 ingot" Hammer (copper) | 1/4 |
"6 ingot" Sword (copper) | 1/15 |
"6 ingot" Sword (gold) | 1/7 |
Rusty Arrows [30] | 1 |
Ka Karimata Arrows [30] | 1/4 |
Gold Coins [100] | 1/5 |
Values determined experimentally and may vary from actual coded values. Of note, item weights and ingot weights for that item do not directly correlate.
Though it is difficult to convey weight without a real-world metric, being able to compare where different materials fall in comparison to others can at least allow for some strategy when it comes to what Weapons or Tools you choose to carry round.
None of these weights are drastically different from each other. The effects of weights will only be appreciated when in large quantities of each material.
