Type Recipe

Handles are recipes required to produce Tools and Weapons.

Obtaining[]

Handles can be obtained either as loot in chests and Cave Structures, or Crafted via Carpentry.

Uses[]

Handles are used alongside Blacksmith Moulds and (optionally) Blacksmithments to produce high-quality Tools and Weapons.

Wooden Handles[]

Wooden handles are categorized into three main types of construction - One Long, Two Long, and Three Long

One Long - Require 6 Wood to Craft[]

Double-Sided, Plain Wooden Handle
Handle One Long Plain
A double-sided wooden handle.

One-Sided, Hammer Handle
Handle One Long Hammer
A one-sided plain handle good for small hammerheads.

Bell Handle
Handle One Long Bell
Handle used for small and medium sized blades. Four arrowheads can be placed on the sides.

Two Long - Require 12 Wood to Craft[]

1.5 Handed Wooden Handle
Handle One Long Medium Plain
Handle with many purposes, can hold lantern.

Cane Handle
Handle One Long Swirl
Can hold blade as well as all horizontal directional attachments.

Tonfa
Handle Two Long Baton
Can hold a small shield. A vertical directional attachment can be put onto this handle.

Double-Sided Medium Handle
Handle Two Long Double-Sided
An alternative handle to the 1.5 Handed Handle, and can fit whatever tool head on either side.

Medium Split Handle
Handle Two Long Split
Vertical direction attachment pieces can be placed on this handle.

Three Long - Require 18 Wood to Craft[]

2 Handed Wooden Handle
Handle Three Long Umbrella
Handle that can be be used as a spear, pickaxe, hammer, or chisel. A lantern can be placed on this handle.

Long Double Sided Wooden Handle
Handle Three Long Double-Sided
An alternative handle to the 2 Handed Handle, and can fit whatever tool head on either side.

Unstrung Bow

A piece of dry grass can be crafted onto this item to create a wooden bow.

Iron Handles[]

Currently, metal handles are uncraftable.

Small, Normal Iron Handle
Handle metal short
A normal, small iron handle. Can fit pommels made at the forge onto it.

Short, Spiked Pommel Iron Handle
Handle metal short spike
Spiked pommel, short iron handle. Cannot handle pommels made at the forge.

Short, Fancy Iron Handle
Handle metal short square
A fancy, short iron handle, with a diamond-shaped pommel. Also cannot fit pommels made at the forge.

Curved, Fancy Iron Handle
Handle metal curved
A fancy, slightly curved iron handle. Is meant primarily for Greatswords.

Iron Knuckle
Handle metal knuckle
An iron knuckle with 5 spike slots.

Hand-And-A-Half, Fancy Iron Handle
Handle metal medium
Compatible with Greatswords, and is a generally great and versatile handle.

Long, Fancy Iron Handle
Handle metal long
Is not compatible with Greatswords, but should work with most other blades.

Hebios Handles[]

Hebios Handles which can only be found in Chests in the Camps or Forest

Katana Handle

A Katana handle, but can be used with any medium blade and small/medium hilts.

Wakizashi Handle

A Wakizashi handle, but can be used with any medium blade.

Naginata Handle

A Naginata handle, but can be used with any medium blade.

Kunai Handle

A Kunai handle, but can be used with any small blade.
